2. Website access, hosting and security
This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and delivered through Cloudflare's infrastructure. When you access the website, technically necessary request data is processed. This may include your IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating-system information, preferred browser languages, response status and transferred data volume.
Processing is necessary to deliver the website securely, prevent misuse, analyse technical faults and maintain availability. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, reliable and efficient operation of our website. The recipients are the hosting, content-delivery and security providers commissioned for these purposes. Log data is retained only for as long as needed for technical operation and security or to comply with legal obligations.
Providers may process data outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or suitable safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Further information is available in the privacy information of OpenAI and Cloudflare.
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message and any attachments, in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is efficient business communication. Recipients may include our commissioned email provider and other service providers where required to answer the enquiry.
Enquiry data is deleted when the matter has been conclusively dealt with and no legal retention duty or overriding legitimate interest requires further storage. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
4. Contact form
The contact form does not send information to our website or store it on our servers. When you submit the form, the entered content is transferred to the email application configured on your device. Data is sent to us only when you choose to send the resulting email.
5. Cookies
We do not use optional analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. Cloudflare may set the strictly necessary security cookie __cf_bm to distinguish legitimate access from automated abuse. It expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Access to this cookie is necessary to provide the secure website requested by you under Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. The associated processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. When you select German or English manually, the first-party cookie ilg_language stores your selection for one year. It is necessary to provide the language preference you requested. No optional cookies are used. The displayed notice is informational and does not request consent to tracking. Details are available in our Cookie Notice.
6. External links
This website contains links to external services, such as Steam. No data is transferred through a plain link merely by viewing this website. When you follow a link, the external provider processes your access under its own responsibility and privacy policy.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our place of establishment is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), www.ldi.nrw.de.
